My career began in the managed IT services industry, helping organisations solve technology challenges and improve the way they worked. While I enjoyed the technical side, I found my greatest satisfaction came from supporting organisations that existed to make a difference.

That passion led me into the not-for-profit sector, where my work has grown beyond technology into business systems, digital transformation, strategy, operational improvement and organisational leadership. It’s here that I’ve found the intersection that really drives me — using technology and good leadership to help people and organisations do their best work.

Alongside my executive career, I’ve had the privilege of serving on boards across the childcare and community legal sectors. Those experiences have developed a genuine passion for governance and the role it plays in helping organisations lead with integrity, manage risk, make good decisions and create lasting community impact.

But purpose, for me, is also deeply personal.

The most important role I have is being Dad to my six-year-old son. My life is structured around shared care and being an active, involved and present father. His mum and I have worked incredibly hard to build a strong co-parenting relationship, with two parents who are equally passionate about supporting our neurodiverse little boy to thrive.

That experience has made me a passionate advocate for involved fatherhood, but it has also shaped the way I think about leadership. The organisations and communities we build today become the world our children inherit tomorrow.

That’s ultimately what drives my work.

Today, I work at the intersection of technology, governance, strategy and leadership, helping purpose-driven organisations build stronger systems, make better decisions and create the conditions for people and communities to thrive — not just today, but for the generations that come next.
